Volunteer Spotlight: Mike Strzelecki
NeighborSpace would like to thank volunteer and Levickas Woods park steward Mike Strzelecki for his leadership and his outreach for work days at Levickas Woods in Catonsville. Mike and his wife Kelly also conducted bird surveys at three of our forested sites recently. The surveys will help establish a baseline understanding which bird species call our urban forests home.
“I am a preservationist, and the most efficient way to preserve open space is to procure the land and groom it in a manner that best suits its conservation purposes. NeighborSpace are experts in this process. They are an invaluable resource for the preservation of local lands for future generations.” -Mike Strzelecki
