Volunteers are the heart of NeighborSpace. We rely on the time, energy, and passion of our volunteers to help us care for our sites, host events, and connect with our communities. Whether you have a few hours or a few days to give, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference.

We host multiple volunteer events across our sites throughout the year. There are tasks for people of all ages and abilities!

Volunteer Opportunities

• Park care / maintenance
  (weeding, watering, picking up trash, mulching trails)
• Restoration projects
  (planting gardens, invasive removal, installing signs, building benches)
  
• Community science
  (bird monitoring, surveying for amphibians and reptiles, collecting data on forest health, monitoring tree plantings)
• Leadership
  (providing technical support, leading an event, training volunteers)
• Community green team leader
• Advisory Council or Board member
