About This Space

This urban forest was conserved by the community back in the 1960's, when development of a road that would connect Dunmore Road to Somerset Road was proposed. Named after Dr. Levickas, a community member who spearheaded the conservation effort, this woodlot contains a plethora of native species, including old growth oaks. The property was donated as a conservation easement to NeighborSpace in 2014.
