About This Space

This area was part of the Battle of North Point from the War of 1812. NeighborSpace has been working with community historians since 2012 to build a trail that highlights this history and provides access to the beautiful Bear Creek waterfront. The trailhead is at the parking lot of North Point State Battlefield (2878 North Point Rd, Dundalk, 21222). Visitors can follow the signs to explore the Battlefield, visit Battle Acre Park and continue to Wallford Dr. Subsequent phases of the trail are still under design and construction.
